PLC Sales has over a number of years become the largest provider of outrigger pads to the mobile, spider, knuckle boom loader cranes and to the aerial work platform industry.

After considerable research and customer feedback, we are launching a newly designed and manufacturing concept for outrigger pads being the ECO Lift zyPad.

Manufactured from regenerated material, the ECO Lift zyPad is specifically designed to cater for the volume markets of the spider, knuckle boom crane and aerial work platform industry (MEWP) equipment to 7.50 tonnes GVW. A single size is being provided of 500 x 500mm sq. x 50mm thick complete with carrying handle to cover this size and the smaller 400mm sq. markets.

Our prices compete very favorably with the lower cost of the 400mm sq. pads. In addition each pad is especially recessed to accommodate the foot pad of the mobile equipment and has non-slip surfaces to aid friction between the vehicle and the pad.

ECO Lift zyPads are manufactured within the United Kingdom have been tested by the engineering department of Sheffield University to a vertical pressure loading of 25 tonnes, without failure, although PLC Sales is rating ECO Lift zyPads to 15 tonnes per pad.

The pad is more than capable of sustaining vertical jack loadings in excess of over 50% over this nominal rating. Other pad designs were explored, including providing non-slip inserts, but the ECO Lift zyPad with it's inherent strength, recess as standard plus built in non-slip surfaces, and the benefit of high volume manufacture, scored the highest at every level!
