Use of outrigger pads on slopes can actually increase the risk of a platform slipping or tipping over.

The ‘Unsafe Ground?’ is aimed at users, operators and site managers to ensure that they ALWAYS check the ground conditions first before setting up powered access platforms or any type of equipment to prevent unstability and risk the equipment overturning. This includes carrying out risk assessments, checking for underground services or cellars and unsafe ground.
