Free Andy Access Spreader Plate Poster

IPAF are urging contractors, access rental companies and end-users to download the ‘Use Spreader Pads!’ free poster artwork for use in their daily operations, as part of their Andy Access campaign to promote safer work practices when operating access platforms and MEWP’s onsite.

The Use Spreader Pads! poster encourages people to check the ground loading and use the Outrigger Pad calculator to:

• Identify if spreader pads are required
• Determine the correct size of spreader pad

The Andy Access posters have originated as a means of communicating the valuable learning outcomes identified from the IPAF accident reporting project, and as a means of reinforcing the key messages covered in IPAF’s training programmes.
